2011 Winner Announced!

We chose 5 finalists and visited their homes to assess how bad their landscape really was. All Finalists won a FREE in-store session with our NHG Garden Coach.

Congratulations to Misty Maberry & Scot Wilcox on having the Ugliest Garden in Dallas!

This Central Dallas couple have the right idea. They have a space for the vegetable garden next to the space for their future chicken coop. They have multiple rain barrels, a compost bin and are 100% organic. They just need some encouragement, direction and a bit of help from the NHG Staff. They are now ready to create a backyard urban farm for their pups, Kira and Rutger, their future chickens and themselves.

What did they win for having such an eyesore in their neighborhood?

Have no fear Misty and Scot! The staff at North Haven Gardens is here to save the day! We’ll help guide them in creating their dream urban landscape. Or, we’ll at least get it to a respectable, non-embarrassing level.

Ugly Garden Contest 2012 will begin taking submissions June 1st 2012 through August 17th. The winner (or loser) will be announced August 31st. We'll update you on 2012 prizes and partners soon.
